nice a/c
yes, we did get the a/c up and working, once the nice lady finally stopped being difficult. how did people ever survive without it???
so i've gotten some updates from some of my tcu friends lately - and one of them mentioned that there is quite a bit of construction going on on campus there. i went and took a snapshot from their webcam - the frog fountain area, for those of you who are at all familiar with it, now looks like this:
i was a little worried when i saw the pic that they had torn out foster, our residence hall, but it's still there. the website also informed us that frog fountain, which, as lisa put it, was/is the "soul and center" of campus, will be reinstalled in a new pool at the other end of the commons area when it is complete. y'all should go check out the site to see how nice it's gonna be.

We drove by there a few weeks ago and it really does look very different. Didn't get to spend a lot of time looking though.
I wrote a thing on my writing blog about the frog fountain a while back. :) fun times.
